Inlingua Edinburgh offers Cambridge exam preparation including the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).

The CAE is an exam for people who have an advanced level of English. This Cambridge ESOL exam is a high-level language qualification and is ideal for those who are required to give evidence of their abilities for demanding professional and academic situations. It is also ideal for people wanting to mark their own progress in English language learning. The CAE certificate is recognised globally by more than 11,000 universities and colleges, employers and government departments around the world. The CAE can be followed by higher qualifications such as the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). The test can either be paper-based or computer-based and covers:

• Writing
• Use of English
• Listening
• Speaking.

inlingua offers two CAE Exam Preparation Courses in Edinburgh:

Full Day CAE Exam Preparation Course

Our intensive full-time CAE preparation course combines language development lessons with practice of all the examination skills and techniques you will need to excel in the CAE exam. You have the opportunity to improve your general English skills in the morning during group sessions (max. 8 students) and will then focus on exam strategy during the afternoon either in private or small group lessons. Evening CAE Exam Preparation Course

The Evening CAE Exam Preparation courses last for 8 weeks and offer group sessions two evenings a week from 18.30 – 20.00. The group courses have a maximum of 8 students. This course specialises in exam strategy training and past paper practice tests. Our experienced teachers will give you tactics how to successfully tackle the CAE Exam.
