English Plus Culture

Learning a new language is not just about communication, it is also about discovering a new culture and people. The inlingua Edinburgh English Plus Culture course allows students to do just that.

The inlingua language school is situatued in the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland’s national and cultural capital. As well as being home to several festivals, the city also boasts a great variety of cultural and historical attractions. The English Plus Culture course provides students with the opportunity to improve their English with an introduction to Scotland and Edinburgh’s rich cultural heritage.

Learn English Through Activities

English Plus Culture students will follow the General English Half-day group course from 09.45 to 13.00, and take part in the inlingua Edinburgh cultural programme in the afternoon. Our exciting programme includes a range of activities:

• Tours of Edinburgh – The Castle, The Old Town, The Royal Palace and The Scottish Parliament
• Art Galleries and Exhibitions – The National Gallery, The Portrait Gallery and The Modern Art Gallery
• Visits to Gardens and parks – The Botanical Gardens, Arthurs Seat, Crammond Island
• Festival Performances – Dependant on season

Entry to all sites and events is included in the English course price, and students will be accompanied by an inlingua Edinburgh teacher to all activities, maximising their English learning opportunities. Evening and Weekend activities are available as a supplement, and can be booked at inlingua Edinburgh.

This course is open to individual bookings in the high season and group bookings all year round. A full itinerary can be produced upon request.
