Half Day + Spoken Performance

inlingua Edinburgh offers a range of optional courses that are designed for students who have a specific goal for learning English, and would like to rapidly improve their language skills. Options are varied and English courses are offered on a one-to-one basis or in group tuition.

Students will study the General English Half-day group course in the morning, before moving on to a more specialized option in the afternoon 14.30 to 16.00. Each group course consists of 30 lessons per week and a maximum class size of 8 students.

Learn English through Spoken Performance

If you want to see fast progress and gain confidence in your spoken English, then the Spoken Performance option is for you. This option is for those students who wish to take steps towards obtaining fluency in English. The course will also include discussions on UK culture and current affairs. This option will take place Monday to Friday 14.30 to 16.00 and will cover:

• Speaking and listening skills
• Fluency development for social interaction
• Grammar and vocabulary development
• Common error correction
• Pronunciation - rhythm, intonation and stress
• Idiomatic and colloquial language

This English course is available in Edinburgh all year round and students can start every Monday.
