We are looking for new home-stay providers, who would be able to accommodate both short and long term bookings. We are a British Council accredited language school in Edinburgh’s West End providing tuition for adult students only (18 years +) from all over the world throughout the year. We are currently looking for host families with English as their mother tongue who would be willing to host our students and provide them with a friendly and warm welcome to Edinburgh.
We are looking for different room types: single, double, or twin rooms, though 95% of our bookings are for individuals. We offer our clients accommodation with either private or shared bathroom facilities. Some students book on a half-board basis (dinner, bed & breakfast), others prefer self-catering. The homestay location must be on a good and regular bus route with no more than 30 minutes travel time to arrive in the school by 09.00am on a weekday. Our courses run from Mondays to Fridays and students usually arrive and depart at the weekend. They stay for a minimum of 7 days and on average, 2 weeks. Smoking is not permitted in any host property, and we always check for allergies and dietary requirements beforehand.
