The Edinburgh Food Festival will take place for the first time this year from 29th July – 2nd August as part of Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink, 2015.

Assembly’s George Square Gardens will host the event which will feature food and drink from some of Scotland’s best producers alongside talks, debates and entertainment including musician, Aidan O’Rourke, comedian VDeep and a cabaret show from Le Haggis.

Festival-goers will also be able to enjoy street food from a great selection of Edinburgh’s vendors and restaurants including Alanda’s Scottish Seafood Grill, Thai food from Pad BKK, Indian specialities from Kushi’s and wood-fired pizza from Pisa Pizza.

The festival is free to attend but you may have to book your place for some of the entertainment events and talks through the Edinburgh Food Festival website.
