Deep Time Edinburgh International Festival 2016 - Opening Video Projection

A spectacular light display on the side of Edinburgh Castle has marked the opening of the city’s International Festival yesterday evening. The Standard Life Opening Event: Deep Time was an epic, outdoor, public artwork, bringing together spectacular animation, lighting, with music by Mogwai, and delving deep into 350 million years of Edinburgh’s history.

As an established international language centre in the heart of Edinburgh, we strive to the best of our abilities to deliver functional and appealing English courses for all levels.

Our wish is for all of our foreign students to integrate, understand, and appreciate British and Scottish culture, fall in love with the awe-inspiring landscapes available all around us (in and outside of the city); explore, engage and grow fond of the art, the sounds, the festivals, the ‘banter’, all the different customs and ways of life, as well as learning the language of course!
